How to Cite the iTHRIV CTSA Grant
iTHRIV is primarily funded by the NIH NCATS CTSA award program. Renewal of this award is competitive. Citations that reflect iTHRIV support (training, tools, services, seed funding, etc.) that your project has received are an important metric in terms of showing the iTHRIV impact. Citing the grant will be critical for us when it comes to annual reporting/renewal of our CTSA funds!
Each publication, press release, or other document about research supported by an NIH award must include an acknowledgment of NIH award support and a disclaimer.
For iTHRIV Scholars (All Scholars in the mentored career development iTHRIV Scholars program):
“Research reported in this publication/presentation/work was supported in part by the National Center For Advancing Translational Sciences of the National Institutes of Health under Award Numbers KL2TR003016/ULTR003015. The content is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily represent the official views of the National Institutes of Health.”
For all other work which utilizes any resources of the CTSA (includes pilot grants, research supported by a Studio, research supported by the BERD, and/or researchers who utilize expertise from the Research Concierge Services, etc.):
“Research reported in this publication/presentation/work was supported in part by the National Center For Advancing Translational Sciences of the National Institutes of Health under Award Number UL1TR003015. The content is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily represent the official views of the National Institutes of Health.”
For all: Prior to issuing a press release, publication, or while preparing your presentation concerning the outcome of your research, please notify the iTHRIV administrative team in order to allow for required notification of NIH in advance to allow for coordination. All scholarly work supported by iTHRIV must comply with the NIH Public Access Policy.
