Participate in a Study on Community Engagement in Health Research

Please consider participating in an anonymous survey to better understand how Virginians perceive community involvement in health research. Two Inova nurse scientists, Drs. Anne-Marie O’Brien and Elyssa Wood, who are members of iTHRIV, are conducting this survey as part of iTHRIV’s efforts to address health equity in Virginia. Your input and participation is vital to the work of this health partnership, and we want to ensure your voice is heard.

What You Need to Know

  • Survey is open from May 4th, 2022 to June 30th, 2022

  • Anonymous survey takes 5 – 10 minutes to complete

  • Participation is voluntary

  • Please consider sharing the survey link with friends, family and community members

  • Survey findings will be shared with the communities we serve and posted on the iTHRIV website

Please help us understand your perceptions about the factors that might encourage or discourage community members’ involvement in health research. iTHRIV researchers know that in order to improve health for all Virginians it will take all of us to be engaged. An important first step is to listen to you by getting your input.
